Marketplace API integration for SaaS products

Add marketplaces to your product: Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and other channel APIs, built into one integration layer that serves many seller accounts from one codebase.

What breaks in a marketplace API integration at scale

  1. 1.

Every connected seller and channel adds tokens, rate limits and failure modes.

  2. 2.

Polling every endpoint drives API costs up.

  3. 3.

Restricted roles, buyer data and partner programmes need approval before launch.

  4. 4.

Integration upkeep slows the product roadmap.

Sellers authorise the SaaS app on each marketplace; refresh tokens are stored securely; an integration module calls the channel APIs within each seller's rate limits, receives notifications, and writes to the product's database and UI.YOUR PRODUCTOAuth consentaccess tokensreports / callseventsSELLERSAuthorise your appTOKEN STORERefresh tokensCHANNEL APISAmazon / Walmart / ShopifyADS APISCampaignsNOTIFICATIONSEvent pushINTEGRATION MODULEThrottle / queuePRODUCT DBPer-tenant dataYOUR APPFeatures users see

What the engagement covers.

  1. 01

    Audit: review before you scale

Code and architecture review of your marketplace integrations before scaling or a technical due diligence.

  2. 02

    Stabilize: fewer calls, lower fees

Replace polling with notifications and bulk reports, cut call volume, handle throttling properly.

  3. 03

    Build: new channels

A new channel in your product, such as Walmart next to Amazon, a new SaaS from scratch, or Amazon features on DataDoe's unified schema.

  4. 04

    Secure: ready for review

Security and data-protection controls for an app that sellers authorise, ready for each marketplace's review.

How it runs.

  1. P01

    Discovery

Your existing product, or the features of the new one.

  2. P02

    Estimate

Scope, timeline and cost in writing.

  3. P03

    Develop

Iterative development and testing, with updates at every step.

  4. P04

    Maintain

Updates and fixes that keep the product current as marketplace APIs change.

What you get.

Questions engineers ask us.

Q01Can you maintain or extend our existing SaaS product?

Yes. We take on ongoing maintenance, improve existing products and run code reviews to make the codebase more efficient and scalable.

Q02Can you build a new SaaS product from scratch?

Yes: repricers, listing builders, analytics platforms and campaign managers are typical examples. We start with a workshop if the feature set isn't settled yet.

Q03Do you help with restricted roles and PII?

Yes. We have helped clients apply for restricted PII roles in the SP-API and set up the controls Amazon's Data Protection Policy requires, and we have taken a seller SaaS through Walmart's Solution Provider onboarding.

Q04Who owns the software after you build it?

You do. Once the project is delivered, you legally own everything needed to run, maintain or extend it: source code, scripts, project files and executables.

Q05How do you price a project?

We give a transparent estimate based on our hourly rate, with scope, timeline and cost set out before work starts. You can pay in monthly instalments; larger projects usually start with a down payment.

Q06Our project is not about marketplaces or e-commerce. Can you still help?

Yes. Marketplace commerce is our specialisation, but we also build for logistics, agriculture, automotive and other industries.
